My only suggestion is that when nails are short, using tips, they can look very flat/wide on the ends. Consider using forms for short nails, or pinching during curing to get a tighter C-curve. They'll look sleeker!

I just learned that with my most recent set on myself. I’m a KZbin university of nails student, so I’m learning slowly but surely. This latest set was so sleek looking due to more finish filing to not make my nails as chunky and wide as they have previously been.

May I suggest adding a gel polish in the same color after the nails are filed, shaped, and buffed? They will be even more opaque and brighter!!! Love your videos!!!

When dealing with brighter colors that may be patchy. Could you do a layer of clear, then white, then desired color, then cap that w clear to make the color opaque because I still seem to get patches

I think sort nails are SO HARD TO DO! for me anyway. If they just want plain nails with polish, it's a little easier. But for me any kinda designs is so hard on short nails. Ombre, marble, anything like that. I'd just much rather do longer nails!

Heather Mullins try builder gel when doing short nails. Builder gel pretty much does all the work for you 👌 just gotta be very careful not to flood the cuticles bc then it’ll just get messy quick 😆💀
