Do you ever use the E File under the nail after applying the acrylic? I thought that was part of the filing step and it looks like you do that when you’re filing around the cuticle area but the lady who did my nails looked at me like I was crazy when I told her mine were too thick and chunky. She used cuticle clipper and clipped underneath my fingernail. It hurt a lot and bled so I just said never mind and ran.

Most times you work with 3 bead method and u try use the size of the nail to know when to stop just remember you dont want it to be too thick
