This is so frustrating to watch. It's not about corporation tax getting increased (though yes that should happen too) it's about the scandalous tax AVOIDANCE!! So many companies pay so little. E.g. Boots paid the UK 3% in 2010 (£14 million) whereas before it moved its HQ to a tax haven it paid £130-150 million. It's not DOUBLING the Corp tax it's getting the 97% that we should have! I don't understand how she could be so awful at this, almost all of these questions have good answers but she seems totally unprepared and often completely ignores his question with some generic remark about equality etc. I support a lot of green party policy, but it is so badly represented by her I find myself almost doubting them.

Disappointing, although I don't really think the interview will hurt them in the election. Her biggest mistake was a lack of authority. She looked and sounded like a "little woman" being bossed about - which is what happened. As a leader, you must be and *be seen to be* in charge. Who the f*ck is Andrew Neil? She should have put him in his place, and didn't. It made her look incompetent. If you are going to be a "straight-talking" politician, you must not be rolled over so easily. Lightweight.

I do not like the Greens but I have to ask the question. The presenter states that giving every adult a basic income of 72 a week [say 3k a year] would cost up to 280 billion. Now say there are 60 million adults in this country, 60 million multiplied by 3k is 180 billion? Where does the figure of 280 billion come from?
