Comparisons are unnecessary. Nobody sings as Buckley as nobody sings as Maines. Its a lovely tribute and rendition, and she's enough of an artist to realize she can't match such an iconic delivery as Jeff, but it doesn't matter. Buckley loved and emulated Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, but would never have claimed to match him. Yet, his honoring him is a beautiful thing that we all can enjoy. Enjoy this, its a beautiful thing.

I don't think anyone will get this song and sing it right - except Jeff. Most vocalists just use it to flex their vocal acrobatics, and that's not what it's about. It's a nice cover, but I don't understand why she raised they Key up that high, only to strain on some parts? The original key is perfect for a female singer.

On the rare occasion I've attempted what was an emotionally moving song (to me), I had to wait a while before I preformed it so I wouldn't break down on stage while keeping the sincerity and integrity of the piece.
