Natalie Merchant performs "Sally Ann" on The Late Show with David Letterman with Judy Hyman of The Horse Flies playing violin. The song "Sally Ann" was written by The Horse Flies, a band from Ithaca, New York. Natalie Merchant recorded this song with 10,000 Maniacs and included it on their Candy Everybody Wants EP in 1992. Merchant re-recorded the song in 2004 for her album The House Carpenter's Daughter.
