Her voice is good, she sounds like a Disney princess

Yes she has a perfect Broadway/Disney voice. I kept thinking of The Little Mermaid while I was listening to her (compliment). It's amazing how big her voice can get without her showing much outward effort. Brava!

Since comments are disabled on the American Idol Audition, I just want to say that out of the two girls she auditioned with, Simon, Randy, and Paula, she is the one out of all of them that is more knowledgeable and talented out of all the individuals named. This performance is proof.

She's amazing. Just saw her perform @ Joe's Pub in NYC... she blew the roof off the place singing O Holy Night with David Perlman (it was a comic duet at the Skivvies' Holiday show).

if you look at the screen next to her when she's singing, it says "musical theatre spotlight" so, I think rather than it being pop-y, it's a theatrical interpretation of a pop song. she really makes it her own, and that's what's so fantastic about it!

She has a beautiful voice, but really...It doesn't sound like pop. It sounds like Broadway or Las Vegas Showgirl. She's a fantastic belter, but it's very theatrical and light, rather than what they're looking for, which is the run of the mill pop-sounding voice. Which is exactly the reason I'm probably never gonna try for American Idol cause I know they'd boo me off the stage for being too "broadway". But hopefully she got cast from being seen on this show. Kudos to a beautifully sung song.
@nahuelma975 жыл бұрын
This is weird. I mean, technically speaking, she's perfect, but in terms of interpretation, it feels weird. Not weird enough to give it a dislike, but weird still
@migueltriana32885 жыл бұрын
It sounds broadway mixed with pop
@Garyvilla973 жыл бұрын
I feel like she's singing with technique and no passion
@butterflyszn23423 жыл бұрын
it’s feel weird because there’s no gospel aspect to her singing, whitney grew up in a baptist chruch so she and others like her interpret songs with more soul.
@fridaylove169015 жыл бұрын
this girl has a GREAT voice, love this song too! I would have loved it if she felt the groove of the song a little more... sung some of it not necessarily on the down beat. Gosh what a wonderfully talented young lady!

You have got to be kidding!!!!! I don't know if you're a professional performer or not - but that's not theatrizing a song at all.....no was it used as a theater song!!!! TO be honest - you must not know music. Natalie Weiss is a well rounded performer - and you will see her name in lights....you wait and see!!!
@deadhead765416 жыл бұрын
yeah thats right. take that american idol. dont worry natalie you're better than that stupid show!
@noyourmushrooms2214 жыл бұрын
I'm not gonna lie...she has a great voice, but i did not like her version of the song. I like when she adds a pop spin on broadway music....but when she sings pop music, she still carries a broadway voice and it doesn't sound pleasing to the ear. it sounds strange and imitated, and she is being compared to a great singer, Whitney Houston.
