Shortly after Natalie's death I was at the cemetery with some friends visiting that wanted to see some graves of celebrities, especially Marilyn Monroe. We went to Natalie's grave when the head stone was just recently placed. Wagner walked up to the grave crying. We stepped away to give him privacy but even from a distance we could hear him cry, "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it, please forgive me." Again and again whaling and crying asking for forgiveness...I always wonder what really happened that night.

He acted like a total malignant narcissist. Calculating, manipulative, jealous, enraged & violent. 3 men in a small boat & she didn't get helped 😕 and she was Natalie Wood. She was always my favorite actress. I compared every female actress to her. There’s not a movie of hers that I haven’t seen. I always was suspicious of her death. Someone who was deathly afraid of water would not get in a boat in the middle of the night. I don’t care how angry she was. I don’t know why the FBI didn’t investigate her death. This case has stunk to high heaven ever since that horrible day. And I truly believe Robert Wagner was involved with her death. Since they had both been drinking it most probably was an accident but at the very least he should have been charged with involuntary manslaughter. I don't think CW or the captain were involved in her death directly. But they both KNEW there was trouble between them and neither one of them bothered to call for extra help which is baffling.

@@maryblushes7189 Due to the fact, you're the only one that's alluded to what I heard, shuttling Hollywood types to and from parties on New Year's 1982. First, RJ & CW, tossed her overboard because she found them in a compromising way. FYI: back then if you were openly gay, you couldn't be a leading man. Second; at the time RJ was starring with Stephanie Powers on a popular TV show "Hart to Hart." StepP's partner, William Holden died 12Nov81; NatW died 29Nov81. It was mentioned that RJ & SP, killed their partners to be together. Final: Kirk Douglas hired captain Dennis Davern to drown her. KD heard she was going to write a "tell-all" book and state how he raped her. The first one sounds most likely but, this was just the drunken/coked-up ramblings of Hollywood wannabes. Thanks for your comment, it's the first time I've posted what I heard that night. Mainly due to believing I might be nuts for buying into the first theory.

This woman will always have a special place in my heart. Even though I have never and will never meet her. My mom passed when I was young and I don't remember her that well. I asked my dad to tell me about her. He asked if I knew who Natalie Wood was, I had just seen "West Side Story" in school, so I said I did. He said, "Natalie, your mother looked just like Natalie Wood." I am sorry for what happened to her, being out in her pajamas in a boat at night, she was petrified of the water, none of which makes sense. RIP thank you for being you and always being a reminder of my beloved late mother to me.

He could have hit her and she flew across the room and hit her head and then he threw her over and untied the dingy so they would not check his cabin or consider it a crime seen. The entire weekend was very strange. Natalie leaving the boat a day before staying on land with the captain? The alcohol and drugs levels in Natalie’s body (she was ready for sleep) it doesn’t equate she’d go Out for a dingy ride on her own. No matter what her protector should have called to help her no matter what. It was a cover up of something we will never kno?

The whole investigation seems botched, at no time do they mention what specifically did CW see or do during the initial investigation? Why did all three men feel that they had to use a "cover story"? What did CH say about the broken wine bottle, was he there with Natalie and RJ or was it strictly with RJ as RJ says. If they can't even ask or answer these basic questions then why does one even think that they will ever solve what happened?

As a boater I have to wonder how the dingy was untied if she tumbled off the stern. Don't turn on the search light? Hmmmm That is exactly what one would do for man overboard and if someone is located you are to remain pointing at the person until rescue..."Stick to the story" Hmmmm If they say she went ashore, why did they not hear the engine on the dingy start? Sound carries on the water and Natalie would not be able to start that engine. Robert obviously had moments when he lost control from the first marriage when she ran to a neighbor to the second marriage when he smashed a wine bottle. Natalie would not go and investigate a loose dingy banging on the stern, she would have told the captain if she cared at all or even knew what the noise was. She would have no idea of how to tie it and she was afraid of dark water. Watkins is hiding something, why would he not say anything. Wagner won't cooperate now.... Obvious what is going on here.

Robert knew that Natalie was afraid of the dark water especially sea water, so there's no way that she would go out there in a dingy bye herself alone in dark sea water at night. I believe he killed her and threw her body into the sea, because she probably found out that he was having an affair with the one he ended up marrying some time after her death. Christopher Walken had nothing to do with her death and Robert didn't seem to be distraught over her death. He had a jealousy and a lot of envy towards her because her career was taken off and his wasn't, plus she was a beautiful woman. He didn't like any men talking to her and their relationship it was a love hate relationship which is very dangerous for people to be in. Plus she was afraid of water, so he knew that, so she would have never done that. I can relate to her as far as being afraid of water and if she didn't know how to swim, there's no way that she would get into a dingy late at night by herself and that's what he about her. So if he wanted to get rid of her that was the only way he could get rid of her and he used Christopher Walken as a witness or to blame it on him, because he didn't really like him because of his jealousy. But I don't believe that he was jealous, I believe that he used that excuse to eliminate her and blame it on Christopher, so he could be with the woman he's with now plus he wouldn't have to go through a divorce again because then they wouldn't have to split up their assets. If she would have found out that he was cheating, she would have taken everything and he would have to pay child support, but if she died then he would have gotten everything. That's exactly what happened, she died and he got everything, but if she was murdered which she was, he still wouldn't have gotten everything so he had to make it look like it was an accident! RIP Natalie Wood!🙏👼🕊 Robert will pay for her death one way or another!

Two guys, one girl on a boat. One guy is married to the girl and suspects there's "energy" between his wife and the other guy. They were asking for trouble. Walkin, is an actor, and he couldn't find a date? If Wagner was a poor man, he'd be in prison, guilty or not. A rich man, rarely would get charged and convicted.

The captain of the boat at that time has since come forward and told a very different story with regards to what transpired on the boat that night... its quite a story, according to him RW heard them arguing making quite a racket on deck, after a time RW reappeared alone, the Captain enquired as to where Natalie was and RW replied "She's in the water, leave her for a while told cooling-off", words to that affect. He also claimed that the following day.he was told what to say to police by RW, so he lied for him.
