so mature of you to realize that you're not in the right head space to date someone at the moment and jump into a new relationship. Take your time Nat & I know that you will become stronger day by day ❤

I went through something in the last few months where I realized my focus wasn't on a relationship and that was unfair to the other person involved.

You're so lucky that you have the social support that you do. It's so hard when all of your friends are in long-term relationships / married when you're going through a lot.

I also broke up with an amazing guy about 3 months ago. I can say that entering in new relationships is tempting, but spending some time alone single is very much necessary. It just feels weird because you feel like there won't be a person as good as him... but I guess it'll just take time to heal and look at it with a different perspective.

I *LOVE* how you touch on having friends that are in the same life phase as you I'm 30 & 90-95% of my friends have families, are in a relationship or have kids and I have none of those things in my life currently I'm also looking to move out of Michigan and finding/forging new friendships with people who are in the same stage as me. So hearing you say that really hits home (in a good way) and make me not feel so alone. I love you girl and proud of you Keep pushing and doing you❤️🤍

i’m 24 and went through a breakup with an amazing guy this past summer. i resonate so much with everything you said! i’m so thankful that i left that relationship a better person & that he gave me such happy memories. but there’s so much comfort in knowing that if you can love the wrong person that much, imagine how much more you’ll love the man God has for you! 🫶

i went through all of this at 23 (2 years ago). 1) Youre doing GREAT and 2) you're right, you need to stop talking to each other to move on. It's really hard and sad, but worth it. Also I've been single/celibate for 14 months now after another big heartbreak lol and its super fun! I get to discover and develop so many parts of myself because I have so much time to myself. and Ive also been able to get way closer to friends because of it

The fact you can be so honest about your feelings and keep your life/business together makes you exceptional. Just remember: You will (in time) meet someone as amazing as you, be a better partner/person because of your breakup, and you will be happier than you've ever been. before. You will persevere...

I am the same with having a string of relationships. I'm newly single and planning to be for the next year at least. I haven't had time and space to focus on myself as much as I need to be the best person for a future relationship. You got this girl!

Routing for you Natalie! So mature realising that you are not ready to date anyone. I feel I have went through something really similar right now and it is empowering knowing your feelings and know your worth and what you need in a relationship now. Stay strong and focus on you x

Definitely take the time you need to feel better because breakups are never easy. It's good to hear that you are surrounding yourself with good people. Surrounding yourself with good people like friends and family can be a huge benefit to feeling better and coming back stronger. Wishing you the best during this next chapter! 🤙

I am in the exact same timeline as you, except I got out of a toxic/abusive relationship where I lost my sense of self. I really admire your independence and branching out with your life. I am now dealing with worsened mental health and trauma that has hindered me in every aspect of my life. I am 3 months out and feeling like I am barely surviving. I am still stuck in fight or flight mode. Thank you for sharing this. It gives me hope.

Ive been watching you for a while and want to say thank you for being an inspiration. I also recently broke up with my bf after 14 years and its been extremely hard. So the one piece of advice I have for all women out there is have your own life and maintain your friendships because thats been the hardest part for me, not having any friends to help me through this hard time. So like you said Natalie, friends can make the world of difference.

I broke up with my 7y boyfriend yesteday.. after 6 months of "keep holding on to him" with no contact situation.. I was so tired because of feeling uncertainty and unworthy . Finally i decided to break it off and he didn't even stop me. He just keep updating his social media with very sad quotes (but still not making any movement)...Guess i love him more than he did..

I was in the same boat as you in terms of not having been on a date after a big break up. I had a 4 year relationship out of high school that was toxic. I then was single for a year and not looking, then a relationship developed with a friend, dated for 2.5 years and my heart was completely broken by him. It was weird dating after that, but i just put myself out there and went on several dates and even if some of the dates meant absolutely nothing, I think it still helped getting to know new people and finding out what I do and don't want in a relationship from seeing different people

hey darling. right now i'm on my 4 months post-breakup so i perfcet understand you: it's a journey. the healing process is very hard and it seems like a rollecoaster of emotions: somedays are amazing, somedays are terrible but we aren't alone! i'm slowly understanding that everything happens for a reason: sometimes it’s still so hard trying to figure it out everything. But I guess it’s life: we grow up, we change, we learn and I guess life it’s perfect on its imperfection. So yeah, these times are like a rollercoaster of emotions but I know that as you grow up, you started to learn that life is not as easy as it seemed. Keep going everyone, we are going to be okay and always remember that are major the moments when we are happy than the moments when we are sad❤ this will make us stronger and best of all: theaches us to focus only on ourself.

Girl this is so relatable right now! Broke up with my partner of 3 years two months ago, we've caught up a few times as well and I still have so so so much love for him and I know in the future we will be friends which makes it easier in a way too. The past two months have been really hard, I've been a shell of myself in many ways, but I'm finally coming out of it and making an effort to see my friends more and put more time and energy into work and school. I definitely feel that single phase as I've never had that either and I'm really looking forward to it. Thank you for sharing your experience with us, sending you so much love and light energy.

I’ve been single since birth. I’m 20 now. I gotta say, the saddest part is being used to it, like I for real feel like if I ever get into a relationship I won’t do good because I just wouldn’t know what to do. The happiest part is glowing up and not having to deal with stress or being cheated on. I just need the right person for me to be happy, idk when she will come but I know I’ll find someone. Whenever I hangout with my friends I’m always 3rd wheeling but i don’t care I always find something to make me happy.

@@renee4869 you’ll find someone :) they won’t come right away, but you will find someone, I promise you! I definitely know how it is being lonely I get that feeling a lot so you are not alone at all. Yes, sometimes being alone is fun cuz you can do what you want without someone telling you what to do and you can get all the time to yourself that’s what I love about being single. Don’t worry you’ll find someone it may not be today it may not be tomorrow, but you will find someone, you just gotta have a little hope :) ❤️

I have to thank you for posting these videos. Since my name is also Natalie, I’ve been relating so much. I broke up with my boyfriend of 1 year and 8 months (i know not that long compared to 4 years) but he was my first love and he took all my firsts. He’s been completely fine and I cannot stop crying. It has been like 5 days and your videos are helping me so much. It also hurts because he was so fundamental to my growth and he there with me through all of quarantine. I have to focus on myself now. Thank you❤

journey to healing is different per person, I used to move on so fast but my recent lasted almost 5 years and I'm in my 5th-month post-b-up, I broke up with him because we have different goals and beliefs, and yeah you have times questioning yourself if it's the right thing to do, and yeah it's been a rollercoaster of emotions. definitely, I have my better days but there are times when I just feel sad or feel like crying, so I just let it out. I maintained the no-contact rule and I know it will help me heal faster. I also don't feel like dating yet, I tried but yeah it will really take time.

If it helps; Ecclesiastes 3 ESV 1For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: 2a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; 3a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace. 2 Corinthians 4:17 NLT 17For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! Ecclesiastes 4:17 ESV Again I saw all the oppressions that are done under the sun. And behold, the tears of the oppressed, and they had no one to comfort them! On the side of their oppressors there was power, and there was no one to comfort them. Deuteronomy 30:3-13 MSG 3 God, your God, will restore everything you lost; he'll have compassion on you; he'll come back and pick up the pieces from all the places where you were scattered.

I love your videos and your content. I'm so happy you're pouring into your friendships. You speak so highly of Kian... why does it feel like he was your person/"true love". I don't think you ever shared the specifics on why you broke up and you don't need to. I guess i'm just confused why it feels like you are forcing yourself to get over him and move on?? Like how are you so sure God is saying he isn't the one for you when there seems to be no negatives about the relationship/him? Either way God loves you, and we love you!

3 momth rule is stupid thing. As a good advise, do not increase your body counts from that you are free from the relationship, cuz it actually lower your social value and chance that you can date high value guys, and increase chance to get another bad guys. Do not go just “he is cute” since man build own value not born with. So many devorces have increased bc most women start relations just bc “he is cute” and then being afraid of getting outta that confortable relationship saying “oh we been through long history” 😂😂 Remember, in all human tragic, only ur lawyer end up being HAPPY
