I`m from the Philippines I remembered this in 2005. i was at my fifth grade in elementary and this song was really on the spot on Channel V`s ''The chosen one'' segment. After school I went home at 4:30 pm and used to watch this song in Channel V... It brings me good memories especially when my grandparents were still alive. You must be kidding. If she was as successful as Rihanna she wouldn't be underrated. Natalie is truly underrated, the song you're referring to is her one and only global hit which was released 20 years ago. The other singles released from the same album obtained an average success but most importantly her following releases didn't receive a significant success internationally regardless of the fact they deserved to. Overall her success was local. My favorite works from her are White Lilies Island and Counting Down the days, they should have been no.1 records all over the world. Not to mention she further flopped with her last record. If that's not being underrated.

Her cover of Daft Punk has been a hit, I wouldn't exactly call it a flop, and I have heard in the past that some artists decide to not market some things as much as others because they don't want the same attention, maybe this is the case (i'm not saying it is) but something to consider.
