Natalija Yefimkina: GARAGE PEOPLE

Director Natalija Yefimkina introduces her film GARAGE PEOPLE, screening across the US via KINO! Germany Now! 2021 Discover New Talent, presented by the German Film Office, an initiative of the Goethe-Institut and German Films: bit.ly/kinogaragepeople.
Born in Kiev in 1983 to Russian-Ukrainian parents, Natalija Yefimkina moved to Germany with her family in 1995. After studying history and literature in Berlin, she worked as an assistant director and production assistant on various feature films. Garage People marks her feature directing debut.
In a time of uncertainty and new challenges for our film community, the German Film Office is pleased to offer a new opportunity for theaters across the United States to present a curated selection of new fllms from Germany. KINO! Germany NOW! enables art-house cinemas and film festivals to book recent films fresh from the international festival circuit for both virtual and in-person screenings.
