crying about these two, forgive me, i just needed to get this beautiful tragic otp out of my system
if you follow me on tumblr, you may know "ca: the winter soldier" got me into comics. and these two are my everything. my dream team. lost spies from the cold war. i hate brubaker for what he did to them and at the same time i understand why he did it. to protect them from marvel. so i can't be too mad at him. i wish they had the same backstory in the mcu. oh well. i know the line "fall back in love eventually" makes little sense considering their mcu backstory but i kinda made this video with their comic book counterparts in mind anyway.

Luthien3333 I've actually not read the comics but I have seen quite a few people say they ship Buckynat a lot in the comics but then ship Clintasha more in the cinematic universe. Which I find interesting. I may have to read the comics then :)
