My homies and I all go over to our buddies house, smoke 5 bong hits each, and watch the Art of Flight 10 times in a row on the projector in his room. What a time to be alive. Now the homies all have responsibilities and we can't do that stuff anymore or see each other as often as we used to. Some have kids, some are getting married.... it will never be the same. I often say "I wonder if we knew back then, what a special time in our lives those moments were." But then I remember laying in a random lawn at a party. 2am, staring up at the stars and contemplating that exact thing, then and now. I remember that moment because it was then that I knew. We knew. Exactly how fundamental we were to eachother and those moments helped shape us. Tonight, ill lay in the yard staring at the stars and somewhere out there, 21yr old me is staring at the same night sky ❤

Same! I only know this song because a 10-second clip from the refrain was played before almost every ad break on a music TV station, for about a month -- and I listened to the full song just a few times back then. I think it brings out some quintessential feeling of being a teenager and really makes you take a ride on that feeling. Such a great song.

in all the games , shows and commercials, music credits are rarely shown. I had to do a lyric search in order to find out who did this song. put the credits where the credit is due and maybe they would have more hits. killer tune though. play their cards right their lead singer could become the next Amy Lee. good luck

Randomly came across this song again as a 26 year old woman, in bed fighting Covid. The last time I heard this song I was 14/15, I had a blackberry or an iPhone 4. This song brings back nostalgia of running around after school with my friends.

love this song makes me think about my entire life and all the amazing things I've done ..jumping off of a Kmart roof into bushes for the fun of it ,pushing a semi truck tire onto a bonfire when I was 14 and drunk,getting hit by a car when I was 15 and walked away from it ,lip singing korns got the life at a hillbilly festival just to be that guy everyone gave dirty looks to lol,meeting a bunch of my favorite actors ,wrestlers,and comic book artist's..but all of this is when I was younger... now I'm 32 and amazing things are still happening every day ..I have 2 beautiful sons now ,a loving woman ,a home,an amazing collection of comics ,toys,autographed memorabilia, etc etc ...life is only as amazing and beautiful as you are willing to let it to be ..enjoy every second of it and don't let a moment of it pass you by have fun,be stupid, be wreckless ..but always be loving,faithfull,loyal,and know your goals ...I wish the best in life for all of you

lyrics: We're only young and naïve still We require certain skills The mood it changes like the wind Hard to control when it begins The bittersweet between my teeth Trying to find the in-betweens Fall back in love eventually Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Can't help myself but count the flaws Claw my way out through these walls One temporary escape Feel it start to permeate We lie beneath the stars at night Our hands gripping each other tight You keep my secrets hope to die Promises, swear them to the sky The bittersweet between my teeth Trying to find the in-betweens Fall back in love eventually Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah As it withers, brittle it shakes Can you whisper, as it crumbles and breaks? As you shiver, count up all your mistakes Pair of forgivers, let go before it's too late Can you whisper? Can you whisper? Can you whisper? Can you whisper? The bittersweet between my teeth Trying to find the in-betweens Fall back in love eventually Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah The bittersweet between my teeth Can you whisper? Trying to find the in-betweens Can you whisper? Fall back in love eventually Can you whisper? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

I'm 25. I probably haven't listened to this song in almost 10 years but I just heard the intro in a video I was watching and I knew I knew the song. I had to Shazam it to remember the name but as soon as I pulled up this video I was able to remember and sing the lyrics perfectly. It's amazing what music that touches your soul can do to you.

I love this song. It reminds me of when I was a teenager. Me and my friends used to get up really early to go skateboarding around the town and this song reminds me of those times. Times when we didn't have to worry or care about anything else other than just living. Good times.
@jensz936011 ай бұрын
The song was nostalgic when it first came out but has aged well. Its the sound of youth, of carefree times. What a song. 2:09the drums and vocals really set the contrast tone to Alisa's voice. TNAF are awesome, I wish they would do one last tour, I would go no matter where it was.

The amount of pure of joy I feel from this song. I first heard it when I was 18 and it still gives the same memories and feelings as it did almost 11 years later. The feelings of joy, happiness, wonder, and the overwhelming thought of where the hell did the time go? I hope everyone has a precious memory from this song, because I know I do.

Isn't it beautiful how music can make you feel a certain way? This particular song seems to make people feel sentimental, wishing they could rewind life and go back to being young. We should take each moment we are given and live it the fullest

Ahhhhh I remember blasting this song at 24 years old in my white bmw convertible with the top down at night, just pure nostalgia back then and always will be 🌈 Flash forward 9 years later at 33 years old I look back on these days and reminisce. What a fun decade my 20’s were and how I’m so blessed to have had a great decade of traveling abroad, just having fun, living life, and still blessed to live another day and starting a new chapter in my life with a family. God is good.
