HAIR COLOUR:
I dye my own hair at home using L'oreal casting creme gloss 360 (black cherry). Please bear in mind that this is a semi permanent dye and I don't use it regularly, when freshly applied it is BLACK!! If my hair is lighter it is extremely faded and i'm probably due a colour so what you're then seeing is mainly my natural hair colour which is a reddish medium brown.
SKIN TYPE/COLOUR
I'm 35 and my skin is normal with a slightly oily t zone and early signs of aging like fine lines as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I DO NOT use fake tan, I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have olive skin. My face is often a LOT lighter than my body because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!
My Necklace:
I get sooooo many questions about it, I'm so sorry it's not a happy answer! Its actually 2 necklaces together, and both were gifts so I don't have much detail, here is everything my hubby can remember! The larger disc and the chain were from Azendi, it has a picture of the moon and reads "The same moon around the world" (which is something that meant a lot to us when we first met and he was travelling with work A LOT). The smaller discs were from www.notonthehighstreet.com and they have my daughter's fingerprints and name and date of birth and they were a present when she was born. They don't seem to be available anymore I'm sorry!!

Love the looks!!, music or not. I just got mine and can’t wait to recreate the looks. I did a monochromatic rusty orange look and it was so easy to blend. I have a lot so was going to pass but the great reviews, from many tubers, of different types vs, swayed me fortunately, because it is fantastic!!! I can see it’s an absolutely beautiful palette. I didn’t mind there being no music when you were applying the shadows and you did stunning looks with it. It is $205 here in Australia but I have probably spent way more than that collectively this year on just ‘meh’ palettes. I think I should put this on my Christmas wish list from hubby - he gets our daughter to buy it for him to give to me haha. If you’re looking for some reasonably priced brushes in synthetic and natural, Royal and Langnickel’s Omnia lines are fantastic. Totally agree on the Natasha Denona formula too. I love Pat McGrath’s special shades, but in terms of overall quality and consistency, ND shadows are the best!

As always, this was a wonderful video. I love seeing what looks you create because I feel like I can replicate them. It’s nice to see you play with color. Hey Charlotte, I for one really appreciate thoughts, looks, struggles even, from a non makeup artists perspective. You know I watch some so called makeup artists here on you tube and I call them makeup artists lightly as the majority have been trained at MAC etc and whilst they are good at doing their own eyes we see the same looks over and over again, hell I even know what they’re going to say in explaining what they’re doing....anywho guess what I’m trying to say is For someone who has had no training, we the viewer get a better sense of the palette and how it works. I love the looks you did. This palette kind of scared me at first but when you break it down and take the bright pops of colour out it really is well put together and grounded. I own her green/brown and Biba palette among others but I’m wondering whether I really need it!!! do I? I’ll probably pick it up. I loved this, thank you so much. I had much better experience with ND eyeshadows than Huda ones... Huda has drier formula (mattes) and shimmers/metallics are way less buttery than ND. I would not like to drop the coin on Huda unless the colour scheme is mind blowing ;-)

I love all three looks. The first is pretty much my go to style, I’m kind of basic on the day to day. 😂 That blue is stunning on you! This is one of my favorite palettes too. Allison L. I had the same problem! I have Biba, mini nude, and Gold, and except for all the oranges in this one I felt I had all the bases covered. I also felt there was just too much overlap of colors WITHIN the palette. So I resisted, caved & purchased, then regretted and actually returned. It was just too much darkness on me!

So far I only have one palette from her (the mini sunset). I love the colors, I love the result on initial application. Unfortunately 4 of 5 colors do not last on me at all. At the one hour mark they start falling apart and at the end of the day they are really looking bad. Only one color looks still good at the end of the day (if all of them would be like this one color, my bank account would have a problem ;-) ). I tried different primers, with and without a setting powder, and even without primer, but I do not get them to work on my eyelids. So I won't spend money on other palettes from ND, even if I really like her color stories.

I think it's worth it. I always get plenty of fall out with Huda and Anastasia glitters even with glitter glue, don't need glitter glue for the Metropolis glitters.

Here this palette is $129. Nope. Too costly, too much sparkle, colors I won't wear. I long for techniques over product evaluations.

Always considered ND too pricey, but this colour story did speak to me and I caved. Do not regret it as this truly is soooo good and worth the $.
