For today's video, I am creating 3 looks with the new Natasha Denona Metropolis eyeshadow palette!
I am also doing swatches and some comparison swatches at the end of the video.
I know the palette is a bit intimidating, but also exciting!

After I saw Johanna swatch this palette I couldn't help myself I ordered it and then I fell off the bandwagon lol. I am in love with this palette more then I can even say. It finally shipped I got it last week and it definitely does not disappoint at least for me anyway. Then I caved and bought the Love palette just waiting on her to arrive sometime next week. Sunrise and Biba will be next :) Then I think I am all set for several years lol.

You have wonderful wide big eyes, perfect for shadow, I have very deep set small eyes and a lot of those gold bronze shades would all look the same on me, you Can never really see the the definition between colours, lovely to watch you tho🥰🥰

I do believe this palette is the best of nd. It's only missing a few pinks and reds and one purple atleast And the two teals are so similar. But it's not a bridge I'm going to burn so I bought it ! Its stunning. I wish she would come out with more like these

I felt like this palette was missing a light rose gold shimmer, and a light matte green.....but not to worry, they pair wonderfully with the mini gold & star! I also paired it with shades in sunrise....and i appreciate that all of her palettes are more like a "series" so they can be mixed and matched.

If you already own both, it's true there are some similarities with the tones. The biggest difference is the cream to powder formula. Maybe wait for it to be available in store, so you can take a closer look at it and Sephora should still have both the Sunrise and the Gold palette so you can compare 😉

Have you noticed any staining with those really dark blue shadows? Thank you so much for the swatches. I’ve seen several videos now with this palette, but yours is the only one that really shows the colors correctly. Must be your camera and lighting. I’m on the fence about this palette. I really like the left side of the palette but not so much the right side. Thank you again for all your work with this video. 😊

Are darker shades not missing in this palette? The cream blue and green shades you used seemed so much darker in the pan, yet they ended up more medium toned...

You can build up the intensity of the cream shades but it's true she could have put a black... Now you can use a creamy black liner pencil as a base but I understand your point 😉

I’m so torn between this and Pat’s new palette. I certainly don’t feel like I need both. I own most of Natasha Denona’s palettes so I feel like I have a lot of the shades from this one that I like. I don’t think i could pull off those khaki greens.

The kaki greens are very pretty. Basically, if you are not a fan of cream eyeshadows... I would not get the ND (I do like them). I love PMG Labs super sparkly shades which are very unique... the mattes are great in both palettes. I'll do more looks with both, hopefully it will help you to decide😉

JohannaGMakeup are they like the cream powder mattes from the original Cranberry palette and Biba? I absolutely love that formula but it’s the actual shades of the mattes that’s keeping me from buying it. Khakis and greens just are a bit too out there for me personally (and I’m not someone who shys away from color)

@@JohannaGMakeup Exactement! d'autant que Natasha a fait exprès de réaliser 1 palette avec autant de grammage que celles de 15 fards pour qu'on puisse payer le même prix... Ici on a affaire à des industriels du make up qui se gavent sur le dos de leurs clients !!! c'est inadmissible, si j’habitais aux states, j'irais directement sur son site à elle;..

I wish she would had placed a black within this pallet to darken the corners!! There are just too many similar shades within this pallet which atleast one could have been changed to a black!!!
