I started getting more into makeup in 2017 and I felt overwhelmed by all the things you "had" to do, like full coverage foundation, several powders, contour, blush, blinding highlighter, eye looks with cut creases and everything matte. And all those things didn't look good on me most times and required a lot of skill and time. Now with the dewy and natural looking makeup trends, I feel more inspired to do more makeup looks that are way easier and without all those rules and requirements.

I was a professional MAC MUA and I started watching KZbin back then just for inspiration for new color combos and artistic looks and boy was I shocked! The palette that this most reminds me of is the Juvia's Place Nubian 3, the coral palette. The teals in the Zendo seem a bit muted, so the grayish green shades in the Nubian 3 can look very similar on the eye. If I need to make it a little more teal, I could always just grab my BH Sweet Shoppe Pistachio palette and supplement.

This video made me think that next time you are doing a Q&A it would be fun if you showed how to make a green eye look cool toned on one eye and warm toned on the other eye! (I know straight tutorials don't do well anymore, but if it was a talking video about something else it would be really neat to see a comparison of how you can use other shadows to change how the whole look comes out!)

I *love* your tip to layer your lid colour over whatever outer v 'definition' colour you add in to make things more tonal (and i agree with you that most palettes need more dark, rich mattes... that creamy formula brown does sound good! Red Giant from Club Nebula is one of my favourite shades for this, by the way x)

I don’t miss the 2016 Beauty Guru days either. I have a HUGE pan in my Peach Smoothie shadow that I *always* used to start off a crease, even though I actually had to pack that sucker on to get it to show up, even on my fair skin color. Never got into cream contour thankfully (looking at you, Anastasia contour kit!). Makeup shouldn’t have rules. Do what you want. And I think less is definitely more. I’ve strayed away from full coverage beat to BB creams and light coverage and I definitely enjoy that look more. Picked up the Zendo palette and it came yesterday so I can’t wait to try it out!
