I agree totally with the comment by Jan Williams. It used to be that everything had to be perfect and then someone said 'but handmade makes it unique' and no one ever notices a small error. That said, over the years I have become adept at covering a booboo. I love watching your videos because they are honest and real. I like that you find uses for stuff you already have and don't buy everything out there. I try my best to do the same. Those masculine cards made with paper scraps are wonderful and in different colours would also work for a feminine version.

Love seeing cards done for men. Love that you used scraps. I have done a few of these type of cards I must say, and love the technique. I even put strips on the front of envelopes to make it match.. I REALLY like the idea of you keeping your strips in the pad so you know and can find easier I think. Cause if looking for certain color or print,it's there. And I thought it was clever how you left the piece STILL in the pad when you cut a strip off. Going to start storing mine in pad.. what i do now. I have just cut up strips and store them in a zipper style folder made for a 3 ring binder/ notebook. I just have to pull them all out each time. Lol thanks for sharing as always.. love what you do.

I love how you reinforce that perfection is not necessary. I started my paper arts career in the late 80's early 90's and EVERYTHING had to be perfect. No ifs, and or buts. It was wasteful and quite frankly exhausting. I recently heard "we are not Hallmark" and that is another line I think of along with your voice when I have made a small "only noticeable to me" error. Thank you for the confidence to leave the mistake and move on. It's so liberating. I so appreciate you and what you share.

What an idea, cut the strips without ripping the paper from the set. Another "wouldn't have thought of that in a million years" idea served aside. And yes, the "A side/B side" of vinyl certainly plays a role in paper pad marketing!
