Am 72 yo ( not grandma yet) fan of yours. About a week ago, we ordered crab cakes in a restaurant, $5 each, (not bad) but not in my taste. I’ve decided to make my own. I followed your recipe step by step, including the aioli sauce. Wow 🤩 thank goodness, it turned out as the best crab cakes we’ve eaten. Thank you and more power to you.

Cooked these tonight. This is an excellent recipe and I agree they’re much better than any crab cake I’ve had in a restaurant. You knocked it out the park. Made a few changes. I added green onions to the sautéed veggies, and used a large onion just cause I love more onion. I didn’t use old bay, i just used about 3/4 a cap full of concentrated liquid crab boil. I skipped the worschesire sauce and added a little more panko crumbs over the 1/2 cup called for. The aioli was the perfect compliment to the cakes. Excellent recipe!

I made these today. I didn't add the panko until the end and the crab mixture was a little runny. But I remedied that by shaping them on wax paper and sprinkled some panko bread crumbs on top. It fried nice and crispy on both sides and went well with the lemon aioli sauce. Everything was a hit! Thank you! (That's what I get for fast forwarding through videos and skipping steps!)

I just made this recipe and it was delishious, the only thing I changed was I buttered the top and added more panko and then turned it over and buttered and added panko. It was so good, the onion and red bell pepper added just the right taste! Will be keeping this! Thanks Natasha.

I bought frozen crab cakes and they were expensive and awful. I've never tried making them myself because I thought it would be hard....but every Natasha recipe I've tried has turned out really good, so I gave this one a go. It was easy! I had everything but the parsley and the Old Bay. I used Cajun seasoning and just skipped the parsley. I was having trouble keeping them together so I added a 3rd egg. These are SO delicious !! This is a keeper 😁 Thank you Natasha!

I tried this recipe and it turned our great. I did make a few changes though. I used a specific type of breading I like better than Panko. I also did not use the water when making patties. I used some seasoned flour. I put a generous amount on my cutting board and on my hands and that dried things out and firmed things up rather nicely. It also gave the cake a nice crust. Other than that I followed her directions and I think she’s right. the result was better than most restaurants. Also, the lemon aioli was perfect. I also made a remoulade sauce and encouraged my guests to try both.
