Hey Natasha!! The last time I made bang bang shrimp, everything was store bought. I know, I know, but your recipe wasn't out yet. I used store bought bang bang sauce and panko breaded shrimp. We dipped it like shrimp cocktail. I like your recipe better because I have all those ingredients at home, including the shrimp. Ok, not the red cabbage. But thank you for posting this. I made these Monday and they were over-the-top delicious. The only thing I changed was using shredded lettuce instead of the red cabbage as I’m the only one that likes it in my home. Even the small grandkids liked these tacos. It’s a hit in my family. I’ve never fried shrimp with just corn starch for the coating. So light and crunchy.

An excellent instructional.Your attention to detail is amazing because it helps the newer cooks practice the all important misen place steps. The one thing I do different is I strain the oil through a filter cone between batches. That keeps the small overcooked corn starch particles from showing up on your shrimp. If you look at the pan you can see a ring of this stuff forming. Just saying.

This was wonderful! For the sauce, next time I would do half mayo and half sour cream, and I would add some lime juice to the sauce as well, otherwise it was a little flat. Also, I added chopped up crispy bacon as a topping in the tacos. I love Natasha and also make her smash burgers. Will have to explore more of her recipes
