I tried so many recipes of cupcakes, I didn't really like it, so I gave up on them, but recently my little daughter asked for a cupcakes, so Natasha's video came up and I gave myself another chance. People!!! You won't believe! They turn out SO DELICIOUS! I add only 1 cup of icing sugar to the frosting and it was still sweet enough to my taste. If you don’t have buttermilk you can just add a bit less than half a cup of milk with about a teaspoon of lemon juice, mix and let it sit for 5 minutes... Viòla!

I've tried so many vanilla cupcake recipes, and they never turned out as good as these! These cupcakes are absolutely perfect, even without frosting. They have just the right amount of sweetness and a delightful texture that melts in your mouth. I didn’t have butter on hand, so I used oil instead, and they still baked perfectly. The recipe, from the cupcake batter to the cupcake frosting was absolutely easy and delicious! I’ve made it twice now and the only adjustment I made, because I’m not a fan of super sweet frosting, is add 1 1/2 cup of powdered sugar instead of 2 cups like the recipe asks.🙂

I made these yesterday! I liked that the frosting wasn't too sweet. The frosting did come out a little thin though (but It's winter here in Australia and I had my heating on, so that may be why?). Overall, they were delicious. I ate them with some hot English breakfast tea! I think this will be my go-to vanilla cupcake recipe from now on. I'd like to try it with some of Natasha's other frosting recipes too :)

I made cupcakes for the first time and they came out so so good. They were light and buttery and literally melting in our mouth. I put chocochips in half of the cupcakes and they tasted so so good. I’m trying this right now. They are in the oven and honestly, I’m so exited. It was very lumpy as I ran out of baking powder so I replaced it with self raising flour and then I replaced buttermilk with normal milk. I whipped it for 3 mins, stopped whipped it for an additional 7 mins and then microwaved it and whipped it again for 3 more mins. It started turning very smooth without any lumps. I’m thankful for the result as I don’t have to throw it out. It’s alright, still fluffy

I made these cupcakes yesterday and they are literally the best cupcakes I have EVER made. Thank you so much for this. Only thing I struggled with was the the cream cheese vanilla frosting. It was still quick liquidy when I made it, even after putting in in fridge for a while so I couldn't pipe well, not sure if I didn't beat the whip cream enough or I may need to add more icing sugar. But either way stil the best cupcakes I made.

I made the cupcakes last night for a test run. They are wonderful!!! My granddaughter, Addison, is coming over after school today to make a double batch. Her mom is giving a baby shower at work tomorrow. We are planning on using pink icing with little pearls on top. We always have so much fun in the kitchen baking. Making memories!

Yes! I do it all the time. You can substitute 3/4 cup oil for every 1 cup of butter. I find oil makes the cupcakes even lighter and super moist

Its technically not buttercream but a double frosting into one. One is the cream cheese the other is the heavy cream so its to in one frosting. Lmao

I tried this recipe today…I didn’t have buttermilk so i added milk it turned out great ..it was a little sweet according to my liking. And i also added almonds n raisins in the batter n sprinkled some sliced almonds on top and it looked so pretty i made muffins so i skipped the frosting..too yum 😋
