A soft and moist Vanilla Cake recipe with the best Vanilla Buttercream Frosting! This is the perfect birthday cake!

I made this cake a few weeks ago and wow wow wow, was it AMAZING!!!!. Thank you so much Natasha for this great recipe. When you make a simple cake, the taste must be the standout. This cake did not disappoint. I’m gluten free and I’ve always had a problem with gluten free APF having an odd texture when using just baking powder, so I was skeptical about making this cake. I can only say that this will be my go to for vanilla cake from now on. And the buttercream was perfect. It’s hot where I live, 110+ degrees in the summer, so breaking is a problem.....not this time. Hello@@sufiamulla you can make a buttermilk by combining milk and vinegar or lemon juice. 1 cup milk and 1 tbsp vinegar makes 1 cup of buttermilk. Mix them both and set aside for 5 mins. Hope that helps 😊

I made this for a school project and it was the BEST vanilla cake i had in my life! I also had an idea to add a few drops of food coloring in the batter once it was in the pan, then i swirled it and made a marble cake, it turned out better than i though. Would definetley reccomend!

I tried this recipe yesterday 16th april 2024 and thumbs up its mosit and nice.... I did a few changes i added nutmeg, cinnamon, lemon juice, instead of putt the 4tsp of vanilla essence i put to tsp of vanilla essence and 2tsp of almond aessence also i didn't use to 9 inch pans i only use 1 pan which was a 8inch...so if theres any one looking for a moist cake this recipe is a must... I made this yesterday. I have been waiting for the heat wave to be over. It's so delicious! I added a little plum jam as well for filling. I will keep this recipe for sure. I wanted to test it out before some upcoming birthdays. Next I will try making the chocolate cake!

I just made this cake and omg....it is SO so so so so good! It was also super easy to make. My oven bakes a little slow so I had to bake it for 35 minutes (when a toothpick came out clean).

For fondant covered cakes it is sturdy enough but amazingly soft and moist even after chilled. My family loves it and I know my clients will do as well! But how did you do it to keep it soft?? Because of the butter as soon as it starts getting cold it gets hard like a rock😭 But it is pretty good on flavor
