It's actually very good interview technique. Most fighters usually aren't open or honest, particularly when it comes to the big one of "What do you fight for?" It's such a personal and complex thing to answer that they typically deflect or don't even truly know the answer themselves. By bringing up Nick he gets him to talk about why he fights without ever asking the question directly. He avoids the typical responses of money, glory or that it's "In his blood" He gets the real answer which is he does it for the respect of his hero, his big brother.
