Nate O'Brien is a very wise individual for his age and for making this decision. Not too many people know when enough is enough. If you are able to be financially free at the age of 25, it allows one to focus on different aspects of life. I like how Nate at least gave us a farewell video of sorts to give us closure. All I can say is to have the best of luck and maybe after some extended period of time, there will be other updates on the channel.

I found one of your old videos by chance - I was looking for frugal travel - and I watched this last one right after. It's funny to witness the growth of another human being in a matter of minutes - because the video I saw was from 4 years ago-. Your professional integrity is commendable. I hope the future holds good things for you, & it seems like you have a good head over your shoulders, I have no doubt that it will be the case. I have an idea for a future video though: The perspective and approaches - to the same goals - of an adult with the responsibility of a family and the worries and limitations that this implies (perhaps it is ridiculous, but remember that I have only seen so far one of your videos about economical travel, I plan to see more ☝). I think it might be interesting to look back and see a more mature "you" approaching issues under totally different circumstances.

Congratulations on the amazing run Nate! I'd been following your content since 2018 and am immensely sad to see you go but at the same time very proud -- it's very on-brand of you lol Your content has had a huge influence on me over the years -- it helped me develop a mental framework for coming up with unique business ideas I hadn't considered before. I was also really into the minimalism during the era when it was a trending hashtag (I'm now more of an essentialist, but labels don't matter much). Your videos helped me a lot with my finances in my early twenties and now I'm starting to see the dividends (metaphorically and literally) of those decisions starting to pay off in my late 20s. I still use some of your productivity tips to this day (ie Eat the Frog), and read a lot of the books you recommended. Safe to say, I think more than being a huge fan, I feel like I've been viewing you as a role model on how I want to approach my work, finances, and life. For example, whenever I need to make important life decisions without the influence of outside forces, I've learned to disconnect and figure out what decisions make sense for me and the type of life I want to live. I really like the approach you've taken with YT, and feel you've been clear with where your values have always lied. And whenever I ask myself what is a good example of down-to-earth, humble, and honest way to conduct my businesses and my own youtube channel, I return to your work and your character as a reminder. If I ever see you in person one day I think I'd (1) freeze up from the weird parasocial moment and (2) shake your hand and thank you in-person for the content that has played quite a significant part of my life. Looking forward to continue following on other socials, good luck on the 3 goals for the next 5-10 years!
