One of the best explained videos I've seen on this gimbal. I have the ak2000 it's a great gimbal but the only problem I find is now and again I get camera drift and I have to recenter the camera or keep it on lock mode.

After 2-3 years of active use I’ve had similar issues. Can tell if the joy stick gets sticky or not. I always try to calibrate with every setup. Hope this helps!

@@NatesFilmTutorials hi Nate when it comes to gimbal settings I'm not sure on a couple of things and could do with some help. My gimbal is set to default as someone recommended on youtube but not sure what the gimbal sensitivity should be wether it's high low or sort of midway and the motor strength maybe you could throw some light on this and maybe that's why my camera drifts from time to time. Cheers.

Question. Have you looked at any harnesses' for this or other gimbals? I am looking at wanting to get a gimbal (at this price point) but I'd like to see if there was some add-on harness I could use to help with having to hold it for long periods of time. Even if it was a strap of some sort that had a shoulder straps. Thanks

can you mount a compact camera? like a panasonic lumix?
@MrPhilbautista4 жыл бұрын
Edgar Freytes In the list of compatible cameras, it lists the Sony RX100 line among them, so I assume it should handle yours as well, though I would think this gimbal would be overkill for your camera. But if you have several cameras with different weight classes, then no need to worry about switching them. You will have to rebalance each and every setup though, as even just zooming in and out is enough to mess up the balance and overwork the motors.

I did like you did @7:44 (up side down) and when held it back normal my gimbal kind of forgot which way to point ... it pointed like selfie mode and even if I double click the front bouton it stays at selfie position. As a matter of fact my gimble goes crazy whenever I hold it up side down. I do not think this gimbal deserves all the positive feedback at all

Hey man, Nice video! I have a question: I bought the AK2000 a few days ago (January 30th, 2020). I saw that other people have other modes in this same gimbal, the "rolling follow modes (HF-R, TF-R, LK-R)" but I can't have access to those modes. I have the same ones as you. Even in the full manual, you can read about these modes. Basically, you need to press one time in the power button when you are in HF, TF or LK mode and it will appear on the screen the mode with the "-R". Do you know what is going on with those modes? Thank you!
@TheTroy09904 жыл бұрын
When you are in HF mode, click the power button once and you have the HF-R mode.

I watched another review of this unit and the guy gave his honest opinion which wasn't great. He highlighted the fact that the gimbal has questionable performance. Seeing your positive review, I'm a tad confused now ... could it be that he had a defective one?
@NatesFilmTutorials3 жыл бұрын
I've used mine for nearly every shoot I've been on and its held up great! I like that it's simple and easy to use. I would recommend making sure its properly balanced and do a calibration at the start of the day. I've not really had any problems with it except the tripod feet came loose after a couple years of use. So I bought a replacement. Hope this helps!

Does anyone have a video showing how to make a 360 pano with it?
@ruhdilly3 жыл бұрын
Hey man, I have an important question. I purchased the gimbal and it was great, but after using it for a bit, even when the camera is balanced correctly, and the camera is well below the weight limit, it slowly starts to lose the horizontal horizon and tilt. I have to turn the gimbal off, then back on, and keep doing so every time it does it. I am not sure if its software, or if there is another issue with it that can be solved
@NatesFilmTutorials3 жыл бұрын
Hey there! A couple things that come to mind, here are some settings you can try out. First, you can adjust the payload settings, so the camera can more accurately balance your camera. Secondly I'd recommend calibrating your gimbal to your setup before you start filming. On an off note, I had the gimbal pan slowly and drifting off, this sometimes happens when the joy stick is slightly stuck, so I have to pull back on the joystick. Hope one of these solutions helps!
