The secret to success with two bassists is staying out of each others' space. Oh, and being great doesn't hurt either! These guys are both masters. I think only 2 strings got used on that massive 7 string bass on this tune.

I've been a Fourplay fan for decades. Neat to hear some solo voice from Nathan, very nice. And that first trip into the basement...I was impressed. Easier to do on a day when you have just a bit of a cold or whatever, with some "throat junk" thrown in. When you look at the solo careers of several of the guys in Fourplay it is pretty impressive, as well. Some very very fine musicians. WLOQ, the local smooth jazz station, used to play a lot of their stuff back when it existed. Seems like there is virtually no music on FM any more, but I guess with all the other formats that you can basically carry around entire libraries of music in that shouldn't be a surprise. Killer vid. I really enjoyed it.
