This jackals paws started typing when Seth said cicadas live for 17 days. They actually live underground for 17 YEARS and then they go above ground to change into their adult form when they live for the 2 weeks. It’s probably during the 17 years underground when they develop their love for musical theater.

Yes, I kept hearing this playing over in my head as they talked about it last night. "Cicada/Cicada" reminds me of the musical version of Kafka's Metamorphosis that "The Producers" rejected as being "too good."

Brillant actors : A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Frankie & Johnny, The Birdcage, Mousehunt, Guys and Dolls, Love Valor Compassion, The Front Page, The Iceman Cometh, The Nance (❤️), The Producers, Angels In America, American Crime Story People Vs Oj Simpson, Penny Dreadful City Of Angels (He's excellent in that role, he would have deserved an Emmy), The Good Wife, Encore encore, or Modern Family.
