My violin teacher in 1950 in Switzerland being in love with the violin I asked her which violinist she liked the most without hesitation well that is Herr Milstein. I have collected all the recordings l could find and have always been enthralled by his depths,interpretation his beautiful tone and technique and refined delivery! Nobody else has been able to satisfy me more than Herr Milstein.

Great performance!!! Fistoulari was a very underrated conductor, he was very detailed, timbrical and tonal detailed, and the Philharmonia was in a great condition. What to say about Milstein? He was a genius!!

I have added Mr. Milstein to my list of favorite violinists . Beautiful , effortless sounding playing . He produces such a lovely tone on his instrument .

hi violim do you by any chance have the Dvorak and Glazounov concerti by Milstein with the same conductor and orchestra? Fistoulari and the Philharmonia. I have the cassette but it's worn out. thanks so much for the Chausson. smartsane
