What i like from Nathan's songs is they are not just a melody, they are stories being told in melodies. ive been listening and realized, that most of the songs has their story line. For this one, it started well and lovely until this beloved person left (downwards), while innocence, it started with self doubt, lack of self trust until this beloved person comes and stay (upwards). and with that thing makes Nathan's song very special and very nice to listen and even very nice to absorb the lyrics, it does have that emotional roller coaster, that what make his songs never never ever be flat and boring. He always put himself in every song, and there you have it, you literally can feel the song. Amazing words and songs, Nathan. I'm grieving the loss of what I imagined a good friendship that could be something more. I know this song is about the heartache of what was once a loving relationship. It still hurts though but I can go on knowing it wasn't what I thought. A big part of me had held onto too tightly. It may be that there were moments we shared that had meaning. I felt a connection only it didn't really attach to what I was wanting. Kind of like a broken arrow that can't fly. I'm feeling mad that I wasn't their person. Wow another amzing songs which hits right in the feels. I normally prefer your happy songs but cant stop listening to this one cause i can relate so much with it. Last year my best friend and his girlfriend (who is also my best friend) broke up and it was really confusing for me cause i never thought that they could break up. After that my best friend didnt want/could see his ex at partys or when our school freind group met, so he stayed more often on the city where he and i go to university together. I had to split times betweens these two cause they both where still my best friends and i tried to be there for them when they where down and needed help. She seemed stronger and wasnt as long depressed as him and after a few weeks when i met he we had lots of fun and talked a lot about other stuff. But with him it got kind of weird. He never really got over it and after some time he wanted to know why i still meet his ex and wanted that i choose between both of them, but i refused to decide cause they where both my close friends. After some months i was alays looking forward to the weekend cause then i would travel home and met with her. And after a while i realized i developed feelings for her. First i didnt want it to be true cause i didnt want to betray my best friend and hurt my friend cause he still had feelings for her. But my feelings got stronger and stronger and it got harder and harder to stay still and just be friends with her, cause everything was so easy with her and it was the best time i had since they broke up and the first time i that strong feelings for somebody. I truly hoped my bud would find someone to get over her and not for me to take his ex but for him to get better. But that never came. At the point where my feelings where the strongest for her, our friend group was at a festival in our hometown and at first they ignored each other at the start of the day and i thought "ok its one of these days again" where i had to split between them so no one gets angry at me. But later that day when everybody was drunk another friend told me they met somewhere so they could talk. Later that night i found out that they tried to get back together and it was one saddest and most heartbreaking moments for me in the last years. I got back up after a while and they are still together and im truly happy for them. But the time i had with the girl often crosses my mind when i lie in bed and cant sleep. So yeah thats the story i connect with this song. Hope i didnt bore anybody with it but i just thought i had to post this. I think some people can relate with it in the one or the other way. Stay strong guys. Even tho there are bad times there always be good ones too and the most important thing in life isnt the love of others but the love and strenght you have for yourself so you can get through these bad times and can get back up.

I've listened to this masterpiece numerous times and I am still amazed by it, especially 3:43 - 4:08, which I can call my favourite part of this song. Your voice is such a blessing... The work you put in creating instrumental is incredible, you have no idea, how much I admire you for being so skilled music producer, like maaaaan you're Wagner for a reason (Richard Wagner, ya know ;D). With instrumental you calm souls, but with your voice you show all emotions, express everything hidden in your soul.
