By far the best idea was the silicone printing in the tube, this is genius, it´s really hard to print silicone parts.

Yeah, I read about that recently. It has amazing potential, although I'm not sure I'd like to eat the chocolate unless they can prove that it's not full of microplastics.

This is probably why Bambu Lab only brought like 5 printers. There is not much upside to having display printers unless you have someone monitoring and making sure they are printing right. And there will always be people messing with the printers causing them to not work

I'm surprised that more artists and architects aren't embracing 3D printing. It would be easy to 3D print visually interesting shapes using conventional large scale 3D printers and then quickly spray a couple of layers of thin mortar to produce the look of carved stone, or do the same to hide layer lines after 3D printing concrete, or use a 3D printed material as the structure for ceramic. There are many easily implemented methods. 3D scan the homeowner and they can have their own statue on their front lawn. I'm an engineer and not an artist, but I'm tempted to try something like this. What business wouldn't want their logo in stone, eight feet high, in front of their building?

For artistic creations, they are usually one offs. Hand work actually is easier for this type of thing. Anything that is 3D printed must be 3D modeled first, and modeling programs don’t make the best artistic workflow

I don’t know the exact history, but a google search turned up a custom sneaker company by the same name. I wonder if that company changed its scope to sell the tooling instead of the sneakers, so they are stuck with an edgier name that would have fit a sneaker/cutting edge fashion brand more appropriately. It’s like a channel named Nathan Builds Robots that hardly builds any robots anymore
