Absolutely love John and Trophy Eyes. This album couldn't have come at a better time. I hope that regardless of Trophy Eye's decision, they find peace and happiness in their music. They are great musicians and have gotten me through so much in my life.

Turnstile/Trophy Eyes would actually be a killer tour. Great interview.

I didn’t recognize him at first but I remembered the old song with neck deep. Went back to check out their new stuff and am right back in.

Such a great interview, John is so humble love the influences drawn from each album and I reckon there is a little bit of 'sin' in there as well, so glad this album has revitalized the band and look forward to future of trophy eyes

Great interview! Trophy Eyes have been such a large part of my life. First time seeing them would have been around 2014 at hombre in newy, and most recently at the v8 supercars where i was able to bring along my 5 year old son. Love everything this band does.

Personally I love the long formate interview, I already love the album and loved it more after seeing them live and hearing a brief description about how it all came about but listening to this while I'm at work makes me want to go listen to their whole catalogue and pick up on all the bits and pieces coming together on the new album

Love this band so much. They shot alot of their music video for "kill" in Mesa. I was at that concert in my Alex Volkanovski shirt making Australia proud, such a fun time.

I love that he approaches hate towards things Trophy Eyes does the way he does. When people were hating on the mix of the 3 singles pre S&S, I was wondering what they thought. He just laughs it off

Speaking of weird match ups for tours, the chats opening for foo fighters wasn't something I ever saw coming but I was all for it

Thank you for this interview! I've been a fan since the beginning. I'm obsessed with the new album. It gives me Chemical Miracle vibes (tho you can definitely hear influence from all your other albums too), which is one of my fave albums of all time. You guys have helped me through so much in my life and it's amazing to see your growth. ❤️ Thank you. P.S. your band is def punk, but I call y'all "emo", which I feel appropriately captures both the punk and hardcore vibes.

I wonder if they recorded in Thailand at the same studio where Enter Shikari recorded Flash Flood back in 2012

Added the album to my playlist, love this band! It's not going to be their last album right? He mentioned that when they were writing it, it was going to be their last record, did something change in that time?
@leighlahwho Жыл бұрын
Initially it was going to be but now in a few interviews he has said they are just playing it by ear and will decide but most likely it’s not their last album

@@leighlahwho I'm glad! I don't want bands to stop making music, I want to see them thrive, especially Trophy Eyes.
