We spend so much time on here watching Nathan shred to such a high degree that it's easy to forget how steep the skill levels of surfing are. When i watched this, and was watching out for John's clips, and saw how supremely steady and smooth he was on the same waves, I realized once again how fucking good you have to be to make Nate look anything less than ultimate badass(like the Shipsterns clips with Kip). Hard to imagine being that(Johnjohn/Kip) good... Hard enough to imagine making most of Nate's waves, but making the impossible look effortless is god-tier shit and it's cool to see the comparison.

Very nice edit. The skill in the double hand drag to stall in the barrel is second to none. I really like the shots from under the water behind the barrel. It seems like those shots don't seem as prevalent in surf clips? Cheers, and great to see you feature other surfers (both known and unknown.
