I don't personally mind the roster being smaller than SMP. That game had a partner system that needed that many characters to be used. Also I know that 8, 9 and 10 got the least minigames, but they did a good job representing them and in a way they made them feel more unique compared to the other minigames. 8 had that funky style of music.

Yeah I get the character selection. SMP had partners like you said, plus every character had unique dice blocks so there’s a reason to pick characters and have a lot of options. In Superstars it’s like any other game where it’s just pick your favorite one

Have you tried playing online with randoms or with friends? I feel like stickers are a bit more relevent there, it's so much fun listening to the sounds they make when you use them. I think they were a great addition.

I tried playing with people online, but honestly it's super hard because the mini games are really laggy even though my connection is fine. And it's rare that players stay longer than 10 rounds. Have finished one online game yet where in the end there was someone other than me. They all leave during the game

You forgot to mention that unlike Mario Party the top 100, that game at the very least tried to reference the previous hosts from 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in the gallery but it also spat on anyone who even remembers Koopa Kid/Mini Bowser by not bringing him back in some way. But this time, the hosts are even spoken of and the game doesn't even flinch about thinking of actually adding them in for nostalgia, and like the top 100 again, it doesn’t even want to back a character who was in the first 7 Mario Parties, and just replaces him with Bowser Jr.! I am not a hater of Jr., but it still doesn’t make any sense why he can’t be brought back for nostalgia. 😡

3:50 Oh finally! Not switching places with the CPU i want really frustrated me in MP3! It seemed like it was totally worthless of an item and just made me wish that there was a throwing item away/trading feature in the games. Like, trading 2 Warp Blocks for a Normal Mushroom, or a Stealing Chest(i don't remember exactly the name. Also, almost "literally" any item is much more useful than this thing). Also, if i moded the games, i would put the amount of coins that i costs at 2, because it's that worthless. I don't know why you are complaining(i get it, not all your opinions are accurate, but still). They fixed an item that was basically as worthless as a completely boring episode of a show. Not even RNG fixed this item, that was the only way the item would be good.

It’s great but WHY OH WHY is there only 5 maps and it’s not even the good ones. I would pay $10 per map if they’d add a good collection of maps from each game. I’d pay to add more characters too. They should have done it smash style and let you earn different characters and maps… It’s a good game but like you said, things like only few characters and the music and boring announcers etc. still leaves me wanting to just grab an emulator and play the originals… These games are so simple to make and they are a billion dollar company. Wtf is with this half assed style of only releasing a few maps and a few characters or w.e. This is just a remake you didn’t even have to be creative. Just remaster it for a new system… Sorry I can’t help but be critical. I was really excited to play some of the best maps on the old games and they chose ones like peaches birthday cake over the Wild West Level. Still glad they made it I mean but cmon. I do think you’re right they’ll do a DLC and if so I’ll take back my complaints.

Well in their defense unlike New Horizons, which dataminers found out the game actually had everything Week 1, so in other words it just became drip feeding for updates that should've been at launch. Here it IS a complete game. All the data is released and out, and the datamine of the rumor DLC maps are seen to be around 0-100 KB compared to the complete maps' 100K to 1M KB, meaning they are not even off the 5% complete ground or completely empty. While Mario Party 1 had more boards... only a few of them were actually good.
