As this was my first ever Mario party I played back in 2013, I have such fond memories of this game. Some of the music like the awards ceremony or tough enemy I absolutely love and the mini games are a blast. I still remember launch break, logger heads etc. I will admit the car gimmick is a bit odd but overall I still love this game so much.

i love this game its my favourite mario party i love both the boards an the minigames and the ministar/kart format is a nice change of pace from the same format from the past game that was starting to get old after 8 entries, and many of the things people critic are some of the things i prefer about this game like the dice being from 1-6 as it should be

I actually gave the game a chance and I also don’t mind the cards and I think that playing mini games after a turn make the game drag on and lastly, I think that linear boards in Mario Party are actually much better than the boards in the previous games and Super Mario Party

I just realized. The more people play older installments before having any experience with this one, the more they'll hate it. Maybe that's why Mario Party 9 is my favorite in the series. This was my 2nd Mario Party, so I'm biased.
