I played Super Mario Party like 2 times total, but I always though this game sucks even the first time I played it. In Mario Party DS, a game of 10 turns is around 20-30 minutes. But in Super, one game of 10 turns is over 1 hour long OH MY GOD! Seeing that Superstar included fast foward through cutscenes is enough to make me feel like this game is finaly going to be good.

@@tanso4564 Mario Party 5 and 8 are much slower than Super was and I still prefer those two over it, that wasn't really the issue with it =b It was the horrible economy and the maps being too small in standard mode. It feels like they planned to make it like Star Rush and rushed out a classic mode to satisfy people, honostly I think it would have been a better game if it only played like Star Rush instead of just with 2v2s.

It did introduced online for the first time, I’ll give it that, but it didn’t even work most of the time, so good luck finding someone who wants to play with you. Something nice is that for the minigames that put the players in their own quadrants of the screen, you can zoom in on your own quadrant by double tapping the home button and pressing it once again once it's on your quadrant so you can focus more on what's happening in your quadrant than get distracted by everyone else (not recommended for local play on the same console)

Of all the Mario Party games I've played, this is probably my favorite, I absolutely love the mini game selection and how this game plays. The boards are nice and have a decent amount of strategy to them (except for Yoshi's Fruit Paradise, that one's a little too dull for me), but I would like more and more variety in them as well. I also wish that there were more characters, even if these are the staple Mario Party cast, but I guess they didn't want situations where a Shy Guy is playing in Shy Guy Says or a Goomba is capturing fellow Goombas in Trap-Ease Artist. I also wish that they featured some boards and games from DS and Super, but it's understandable why they didn't do that, since most of those games were stylus/Joy-Con controlled. Still, games like Camera Shy, Fast-food Frenzy, Gridiron Gauntlet, Fuzzy Flight School (with it being controlled with stick controls instead), Croozin For a Broozin, Don't Wake Wiggler, Dash and Dine, Tow The Line, Off The Chain, Sign Steal Deliver, and Bopping Spree being great games missing from this collection

Only thing I disagree with is your comment on MP8/9/10 minigames. Those have the best minigames in the series and no one will change my mind. I respect your opinions Nathaniel but you need to stop with your bias towards N64 and Gamecube games. So many of MP1’s minigames are biased and unfair, half of MP2 is from MP1, MP4 only has 60 and not a fan of the microphone in 7 but I’m so happy we got a great Mario Party game again. I'm honestly dissappointed by the lack of Mario Party 8 and 9 minigames. Those games were part of my childhood.
