Thank you SO MUCH for the tip about adding miltiple formulas, one after the other, with the plus sign. It helped me a lot to simplify my workflow as I kept adding seperate formula icons for each function I wanted to run.

Nathan: you stay on point like a Ford GT on rails! Thanks for such clear explanations. And keep in mind that you wouldn't always forget to specify the data type of output if Alteryx just checked to see which types are being used in the formula anyway and matched those by default. Or am I missing something?

How many input required for number of input sources ?

The number of inputs is nearly unlimited. There's only one input allowed per tool. So just drag on multiple copies of the same tool.
