I love the treehouse mod. I always like to roleplay as a hunter/survivor living in a small and minimalistic shack, travelling across skyrim from time to time. I usually choose the alchemist's shack as a player home but this treehouse looks great and it's in a convenient location as well

Good selection - for those interested on PS4 here are a few more I personally recommend. 1. Draven Manor 2. Sentinel Falls (wish it never had dragon) 3. Nordic Longhosluse V2 4. Bzarkth Tower 5. Circus of Myrth 6. Morthal Lantern Estate 7. Priory of Mara 8. Mirage Island 9. Stonehaven Manor 10. Winterhold Beacon 11. Stormbreaker (ship) 12. Rayeks End 13. Tyr's Landing 14. Gryphons Refuge 15. Altelier Claire Not to mention a bunch more like Driftweald, Hermit Stump & many more. Make a part 2 fella! Then probably a part 3!!!

Any recommendations for a two-handed orc brawler who feels most at home around Windhelm and Riften? More of a rugged place preferably, and with all smithing/alchemy/enchanting stations within the same load screen.

@@damienhine1861 For your criteria, off the top of my head, here are a few for you to test and consider; ✓ Sentinel Falls - great location with some great features, but a few niggling draw backs. ✓ Nordic Longhouse V2 - Just outside Windhelm, nice hunter like home with space if you want to make your own faction ✓ Kralyks Bundle - adds a crazy but unique home to marsh area of Windhelm made out of a crab shell base (includes X3 other homes) ✓ Snowflake Manor - More of a classic manor, but has some decent followers and good location in terms of what you are looking for ✓ Caves of Morrowind - adds a whole area to explore under the Velothi mountains and through to Morrowind - right in the area you like. The other side contains multiple places you could choose to make a player homes. For my Orc I use - MsRae's Orc Longhouse - it's north Falkreath on the lake but has some great features and you can essentially build your own Orc Stronghold (using relocate NPC & additional followers mod). Another good option could simply be to join the Orc Tribe in the mountains there by the Ebony Mine. You can use mods such as; - Relocate NPC, and some toolkit mods to make beds your own etc

@@damienhine1861 with mods lots of things are possible. Use this mod and play with it; - ANA's Unique Spells You can spawn chests, sleeping rolls and everything to make anywhere your home - Relocate NPC Pair this mod with 'Tailors Measure' and a good new followers mod and you can make your own factions. A great playthrough with an Orc, is to set up the Stronghold in Falkreath (MsRae's Orc Longhouse) you get two members once you set up (cook and a smith)... then go to the other Orc tribes and get a tribute.. this could be a person (most Orc tribes have a follower you can send to live at your new home) or Armor or something. Really fun role play as you'll do all the Orc quests etc.

Just thought I'd mention... Deus Mons is glitched beyond help on ps4. You can use it but you have to spend a few minutes jumping over the rocks to get in from the back. The dragon who's supposed to drop the key? Yeah, he flies off when he's at half health and never comes back, ever. He disappears from the map entirely. Tried spamming slow time shout and archery, eventually got his health to zero... he still flew off. One of the biggest let downs I've had in trying to find a good ps4 home/castle base.

Great video as always. Talking about underrated PS4 homes, ever reviewed Adalvald’s Retreat or Frostvale Estate? Both have all the trimmings that these homes have (the Retreat is actually one of ToggleAIs creations), yet seem to be low on the Favorites for some reason.

The hobbiton one is very cool, but the only problem is like half the house is just for show, you can't interact with it.

I have to say that I don't really like player homes which are outside. I'd rather have one or more loading screens than having it outside, because the game lags, enemies can be near or even inside and it doesn't feel safe for me. But still they're really well designed. I absolutely love Rendspire Palace, it's a gigantic Palace with multiple areas with fast loading screens in between. What's incredible about this palace is that there're many secret rooms with teleport stones to fast travel to different parts of the palace. It has a MASSIVE secret armory, a secret laboratory and much more. It even does have an outside area which is not in the outside world so no enemies can spawn there. There're also many residents in the palace to feel not so lonely there. There's even a little lore in that palace, I really love such small things. I absolutely recommend it because it has everything you would need, many safe chests, lockers etc. Inside the game is really smooth, you can fast travel from area to area and the palace is mostly designed like solitude houses, more like the blue palace. Such a great home. But I have to say I need to try out that vampire home. Although I'm not a vampire I love secret passages behind walls and stuff so I need to check that out 👌🏻

I just started a new two-handed, heavy-armoured orc character (name's Karnage) so I'm looking for a rough house with all the necessaries for storage, crafting, enchanting, etc., hopefully more in the wilds than anywhere near Whiterun. Any recommendations? I liked the look of the treehouse but the amenities seem limited.

I'm guessing you are talking about the PC version? If so, SE has some great mods and the upgrade to 64 -bit makes mods and the game in general so much smoother.
