Not going to happen. The Baltics want nothing to do with it, Moldova wants to fold into Romania, Ukraine..well that is pretty obvious, Georgia and Armenia - they want to join the EU, Azerbajian - they want to hook up with Iran and Turkey, the central Asian republics are ditching any and all Russian influences -- Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are even getting rid Cyrillic script. The republics dont want to join even a *capitalist* Russia. Its just Russia, Belarus, and perhaps the bantustans that have been carved out of the causacus (South Ossetia, Nogorono Karaback or whatever the fk it is, etc). Even then it would be some kind of bastardised Orthodox Christian-Stalinist-Tsarist socialism that is bascially the government owning coal mines and railways and little else.
