The "State Anthem of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics" was the national anthem of the Soviet Union and the regional anthem of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic from 1944 to 1991, replacing "The Internationale". Its original lyrics were written by Sergey Mikhalkov in collaboration with Gabriyel’ Arkadyevich Ureklyan, and its music was composed by Alexander Alexandrov. For a two-decade interval following de-Stalinization, the anthem was performed without lyrics. The second set of lyrics (the ones used in this video), also written by Mikhalkov and in which Stalin's name was omitted, was adopted in 1977.
A decade after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the music was adopted with new lyrics, again written by Mikhalkov, as the Russian national anthem.

Have you appealed? PLEASE DO APPEAL because it worked for me. Your channel is 10x bigger than mine and there is a big chance that the demonitisation was done by bots, not actual humans. So if it worked for me, there is literally no way it wouldn't for you, considering you are much bigger.

The part where it shows the rocket launching made me realize I had forgotten that the Soviet Union sent the first human to outer space and back to earth. There's a lot of things to say about the USSR, but no one can deny the first step they give to humankind by doing so.

yes. The USSR made many other first steps in space travel. It completely denounced landing on the moon. (As it didn't really accomplish anything - the Soviets already had returned a sample from the moon.)

I still find it sad that the reforms allowed for the coup. I think if the USSR had relaxed it's control of eastern Europe and given more autonomy to it's outlying regions it could have made it. However it's reforms really should have come in the 60's. By the 90's it's internal tensions were too much to keep it together. Cause in foundation it really wasn't that bad. The biggest problem it had was the lack of accountability at the very top. I think making the premier directly elected by the people and limited in terms, kind of like the US does it would have solved a LOT of it's problems.

@@CooltasticOG No, simply the Tsarist Russia was a highly reppressive country. For example, the manifestation of Bloody Sunday was a very pacific one, but the police just shouted and shouted. The tsar said he was very sad, but nobody never got punished for the masacre.

Khodynka was an accidental stampede, not a shooting, literally nobody’s fault that it happened. Meanwhile you will turn a blind eye to the crimes of the Chekists, I’m sure, given that you are a Marxist. And none of the other events were ever ordered by any member of the royal family, please do research before making nasty comments.

@Arandohistorian202 that's what I'm saying. Atleast the Soviets oppressed everyone equally (the holodomor being the exception) Edit: most Soviet oppression was due to Stalin, not due to the Soviets or the Russian people. Lenin had good intentions, but due to Stalin the Soviet Union went down a dark path.
@doncorleone1553
@doncorleone1553 Жыл бұрын
@@jansobieski8414Lenin did not have good intentions, he was an internationalist who wanted a world revolution. In fact, it was Stalin who stopped the idea of world revolution and killed the old Bolsheviks. And Stalin stopped persecution of the church in 1943. The idea that Stalin was worse than Lenin is a myth. Even Molotov famously said about the two, “compared to Lenin, Stalin is a mere lamb”

I don't know why, but when hearing the first two lines: "Союз нерушимый республик свободных Сплотила навеки Великая Русь" It sends me a subliminal message saying "Welcome to the Soviet Union!" when it says "Союз нерушимый..." and later "Сплотила навеки Великая Русь" transmitting "The birth of Russia!"
