Colours of Asia #7
Simplicity, practicality, and unique color are characteristic for the national clothes of Kazakhs. The style of clothing and its shape for many centuries have been common to people of any age and status. Only materials, decor, the number of clothes and ornaments could speak of the social and clan affiliation of citizens. By the way, Kazakhs sewed clothes mainly from materials they made themselves leather, fur, thin felt, and cloth. But often imported materials such as silk, brocade, velvet, and cotton were used.

@@Crosshill Cause all of us are "Turkic", basically we are the same with differences but our roots+history+culture+ethnicity is the same. We just couldn't unite for a longgg time so that's the main reason why we have small differences but we can all understand each other's languages cause oour languages are the same, according to our literature classes our languages are classified as the same languages but different dialects.

I kinda wished what turkish traditional clothing looked like before the ottoman or even seljuk age. We didnt preserve much of our turkic heritage.

@@Buyanjagal.B true, but the ottoman age forced us to arabify. İt wasnt until Atatürk rose that we became turks again but still so much culture was lost until then.
