Watching the Lakeland trot around was almost like watching a mechanical toy dog. The action and the grooming was so perfect it made you question if the dog was real.

@@LexiJayCyeah. You can say the same thing for standards like the Old English Sheepdog, but it’s how they’ve been bred into standard, otherwise they probably wouldn’t just be walking.

The expressions on some of these dogs' faces are just so adorable I can hardly stand it! Also, the Lakeland Terrier has such an unusual and cool look. Love them all. 🐕🐾

Really loved the Kuvasz, and the Doberman as well as the Short-haired Pointer. Those were the ones that stuck out to me personally, but really a lovely bunch of dogs all around. I watch the dog show with my family every year.

Most of those people are professional handlers. The dogs get very good treatment and many are beloved pets who live with owners.

Love this clip. So nice to have the judge miked to hear his comments. Absolutely Abhored NBC's coverage of the show this year! Didn't know who won reserve in BIS til now. NBC's broadcast group coverage was beyond awful, with cuts to slides as they talked about the characteristics of each group, so we didn't see the dogs enter. Why not voice-over those characteristics so we could SEE the actual dogs enter, and a full line up?!?

They do at the very beginning of the actual airing when the judge is first looking the dog over. But I assume you mean it should have been edited for KZbin to have the breed name somewhere at the bottom of the screen for each showing. (In which case I agree because I occasionally like to look up breeds afterwards).
