@ElTestimonioDirecto The "sun" is not a sun/star but a monstrance. Think of it as a tabernacle. But where a tabernacle is enclosed, a monstrance is meant to displayed. What we are worshiping is Jesus in the monstrance. You still might disagree with the practice but cannot deny Jesus is meant to worship. Next, you need to understand the meaning of real presence in the Blessed Sacrement in the Most Holy Eucharist. (John 6:22-71). I would also recommend reading up on church history that before the 1500s (Protestant Reformation) there was no contention about real presence. Lastly, to test this teaching, read up on the early church fathers like St Ignatius of Antioch on what they wrote about the Eucharist. Peace be with you.

Tied up traffic & held up buses some of the most vulnerable people. Yeah, conventions do this at times. But should we really cause that much angst among the vulnerable! I was one of those people. I currently live in a homeless shelter & need the bus system. I can not choose my routes or adjust well because who knew this was going down but attendees? I am Catholic btw. Easy to get lost in our own world at a Convention & not see the impact on others.

It was announced before hand where the procession was going and when it was happening. All the authorities made proper adjustments for the duration of the event. Whatever you wrote makes literally no sense whatsoever as no group of people would be able to organize anything if we had it your way.

@@jakajakos I really think that there should not be any procession on major arteries period. Look, the people most affected do not have the same wifi access, ability to change the routes they are on. A Eucharistic Procession like this in a metro area is what makes zero sense. Its selfish.

The whole book & all the Prophets do make it clear that if we do not do justly, if we trample on the vulnerable our festivals & celebrations are a stench to God. Learn to read the Bible in context. It will make Jesus teaching far more clear. How can we honor the Eucharist if we do not repent & seek constantly to improve how we live the Gospel in a world where so many are so trampled on?
