Someone on Facebook said this: "SAD day in Canada when a 85 year old sportscaster is held more accountable than the Prime Minister". Well said. Rosemary Barton is so happy Don was fired BUT said nothing about her selfie buddy Trudeau's BLACKFACE.

IF CBC would not have "Comments Disabled" all the time I would be able to post my comments on a more appropriate thread rather than Remembrance Day. But, Bart Yardley of Sportsnet had no problem firing Don on this day. DISGRACE

I was rather shocked watching the Remembrance Day services on Parliament Hill. Every time the cameras panned the crowd all I saw was a sea of White faces. Are there no immigrants in Ottawa? I assume Canada does accept some White immigrants. Was that just a 1 in 1000 chance that happened? We always hear diversity is our strength but it sure wasn't evident in what the cameras happened to show in the crowd!

1. Your other comment is still there 2. There are white immigrants. How are you able to tell who's an immigrant and who's not? 3. Ottawa/Gatineau is mostly white 4. Yes in this two hour long video there are non-white faces. Take some time to remember our veterans instead of spamming.

It's our flag too. The Union Flag represents the heritage of Canada, and you might get a few bad looks in Newfoundland if you ever called it the "British Flag." The Queen is our head of state, we've always remained loyal to our monarchy, and the Union Flag is still one of the flags that represents the great dominion we live in. She defends our freedom sure, that's why we sing God Save the Queen. I'm sorry if that comes across as rude but I really don't mean to be lol. I don't know everything but as the son of a veteran I think people need to know the five w's about Armistice Day. Lest we Forget!
