Once TIV 2 get back out of the garage they can get more intercepts I know I am a bit harsh w my critics on team TIV but I am just spoiled from watching storm chasers… they are finding their rhythm hope to see some Lebanon level intercept footage

This vehicle may have started life as one of thousands of 2007 ram 3500 6.7 it was custom built for tornado intercepting you have seen storm chasers season 2 episode 1 ? In that episode we see this vehicle go from a basic frame to a 16,500 lbs tank the reason why this vehicle had to be rebuilt was because the baby axles they used couldn’t support the weight of the tiv instead of swapping out to stronger axles they just made it lighter and weaker yes aluminum is softer than steel and a sandwich made from steel,Kevlar, polycarbonate, and rubber the biggest downside that vehicle has gotten is tied for me between losing 6 wheel drive and losing the rear flap

If you added hammering action to those spikes would go in lot deeper without lifting the vehicle. It would take some fabrication to do it. They use them on skid steers attach to the front end for breaking concrete hydraulic powered jackhammer. Probably need to slide the entire hammer with the point bit downward it would require a 2nd ram some to move entire jackhammer and pin into the ground. It could drive right through concrete easily go in several feet.
