You are great and I understand all you say. Some people say you speak too fast, but I have no problem understanding all you say. All you say is very normal to me because I'm the kind of people you talk about. I love helping people, and donating things or money any time I can. I'm also very grateful for my life that is not perfect in any way. I live alone and I'm very happy being alone by myself, but I had been very social in the past. That was the past and I don't really miss it, this is my life now. Being locked at home because of the CoronaVirus doesn't bother me too much. Thanks for preaching and teaching happiness, in reality all people need to learn to be happy, one don't learn that at home from our parents or at school. It's like being a parent, or being a spouse, one learn as life goes on, and one make many mistakes, some we can correct and others we can't. I didn't start being happy until I was in my late 40's and I'm very grateful, 'cause I finally see life is great no matter what.

I always dreaded it when my girlfriend would plan social events with other couples. I ALWAYS had a great time when we did and would tell myself to remember this when next my brain is lying to me that being social is sucky. It never changed the way I felt the next time, it just made me less prone to fall for the lie, bite on my mouthguard and power through to what would turn out to be another enjoyable evening.

Thank you, enjoyed feeling like a student in your class!! At the end of your video you mention that FaceTime or phone connections aren’t the same as real time face to face connecting. Social and physical connection is very difficult right now because of the corona virus pandemic.

Psychology says one way or another. However, the Master, guru, maker, producer, director, The Creator Says all in a few words in The Bible. What did Jesus write in the sand? So many philosophers, theologians, professors, and students wonder and theorize. He bent down twist to scribble while accusers wanted to do violence to Mary of magdala. All because Jesus warned to give time to calm the anger. To redirect the angry thoughts and actions. People left the scene somewhat satisfied.

I wouldn't sweat it, the constant misguided practice of chasing the feeling of happiness has to be the most overhyped concept of the west, if not the world (and there's many overhyped things). Basically why would you chase something that's fleeting, could change for the worst at any moment, promises much but only provides from time to time? It really seems people mostly love what they cannot have, and it's a tragedy when one gets all that they desire, or at least to obtain it and not be able to be actively grateful and remember what it was before reaching a higher state What's underrated is fulfillment. Happiness is an unstable fleeting emotion/ mind state, whereas fulfillment in some practice, hobby, or activity is a well spring of lots of great things. It can be painful, and not always provide, but striving more for bettering one's self for fulfillment actually leads to more stability and greater potential for more happiness more than chasing happiness on its own I have a feeling there's grand mass propaganda for the chase of happiness to keep the wheels of capitalism ever moving, consuming more and more while being less and less fulfilled and happy, but that's a whole 'nother topic xD
