To me, happiness means being fulfilled because of a purposeful life we lead. Figuring out what our purpose is so it can energize us daily is key.
@hamzakhaan23194 жыл бұрын
But sometimes we have some purpose we still felt empty. I think the problem is we find purpose but we chose different strategy for it to achieve, to have a purpose, a good strategy, and love for the journey which lead to it is source of happines.

Thanks for this video man and to Laurie. We need so much positivity in the midst of all the negativity we face. It's really important to be grateful. At the end of the day, meditate on the things that you are grateful for. Because sometimes, when we are so focused on the things that we want, we tend to forget the things we've had in our hands, things we've already achieved.

What a great interview with so many gems in it! Some I noted: 16:00 the importance of giving vs receiving, btw already the Bible notes it: Remember that our Lord Jesus said, “More blessings come from giving than from receiving.” Acts 20:35 CEV bible.com/bible/392/act.20.35.CEV 22:12 "happy people don't do that" (staring at their phone while being with somebody) 32:00 "Panic scrolling" - loved that expression 😁 34:20 the importance of breath 35:45 dealing with bad information and looking for the good 38:50 the story of the second arrow 39:48 what you CAN control 44:00 re wiring 48:04 craving vs liking, two very different brain functions

Thinking and teaching about happiness must make you more happy, compared to all the people who love to talk about not doing or why something is not possible... 🙂

For me whose always turned to others, I need to recharge. Sitting in nature, finding happiness in the smaller things. I like to sit with myself to eat oysters and I cancel thoughts that I find don’t serve me. I talk to these thoughts and say: I know you are here to protect me, I love you, I don’t need you, you can go now. When something outside of myself comes as a challenge, I ask, what is this situation here to teach me.

this whole video is about the next generation finally discovering something we already know: quit being so selfish and do something for others! Share with others, give things away that you dont need. Buy someone a coffee or just be nice (hey what a concept) to a coworker instead of thinking about yourself. its about connecting with others and getting your head out of your cell phone, people! SMH. we already know this instinctively as humans. Its sad if parents arent teaching this before you even get into school as a child. Why dont parents teach this

Ok I'm a 39 year old man who stands about 5'3 and I hate it! I was also born with a bladder that looks like a Christmas tree and so I constantly get UTIS, but the worst part of it is when I have to go to the restroom I can't wake up like a normal person should so it has caused me to be a bed wetter all my life so I have never had a girlfriend 😭! I was also raised by 2 very over controlling parents who never gave me my own wings to fly! Because of it I feel sooooo far behind in life help!!!!

Chris, maybe you should be gluten free. Stop eating wheat. Stopping wheat helps improve many health conditions as well as gives a better outlook on life. (Wheat consumption has been linked to depression) Look into Dr. William Davis' videos and books. 'Wheat Belly' is his most popular one. I'm not sure directly how it will affect your uti, but it should help. I've been wheat free since 2015. It's the best dietary decision I've ever made. Blessings. ✌💗

Chris Lupe Most people don't have your courage to be so honest. That's just one positive aspect of your personality to be proud of. Aside from consulting a urologist, I've recently seen a bedside product advertised that alleviates incontinence. In any case, you're way too young to give up. Try to stay more upbeat by not focusing on dysfunctional childhood memories that keep us stuck in the past and pray for the solution to be revealed to you.

Dr. Laurie Santos at minute 15:12 to16:18 talking about giving to others, but what happens when you have never have anything? I was really poor when i was child and we work since i was 7 years old hard to give that money to my mother to she buy food and cleaning our clothes, when i grew up i keep giving money to her so stress for that action i did to giving everything and i have anything for myself. Since my brother and my family got out of this economy conditions and I still keeping giving to everyone. Once i SEE a picture of myself and i saw the same clothes i wear in every of my pictures, I see my shoes and my face so stress because i did give my time, my money and my patience to everyone else and I have not treat myself ever. iTS WORNG OR BAD?
