That’s pretty ballsy to accuse someone , no possibility of the equipment of the cup being defective? Here’s my point. I’m 52 and I’ve never done drugs,I’ve been to the same process at the same quest diagnostic for many years. I’ve never failed a drug test in my life. Most being random I go and I’m told about temperature being out if range. So I get threatened, that I have to be observed, so I’m waiting 3 to 4 hours in the waiting room and I can’t leave , I can’t eat , I drink more water from there cooler. Now I’m shivering with all the cold water and than diarrhea comes , I had to beg to use the bathroom, 2 times this happens while I’m waiting. Finally the guy comes and I let him watch me This is pathetic to put someone through what I went through, I felt like a criminal, fuck DOT , fuck the government and fuck everyone who disrespects truck drivers, Im the last person in the world to do drugs , I hate the smell of weed

How is temperature out of range determined? Do the cups have a temperature strip attached to provide an immediate temperature reading? How often does the subject of a directly observed collection pass the drug test? How often is the subject of such an invasive collection procedure proven innocent? Which means that they were probably not trying to cheat the test in the first place. If even 1 out of 1,000 people are innocent victims of a coerced and demeaning procedure, that is one too many.

If urine comes out of the body and into the cup, and the temp is taken within four minutes AND the donor has done absolutely nothing to “tamper” with the sample, it WILL read between 90-100 degrees.

What if I agree to provide a second sample but refuse to provide the second sample under direct observation and the Mro tells me to leave and doesn’t discard the first sample and sends my first supposably tampered sample to the lab Anyway

He is sending BOTH samples to the lab. He has marked the out of range sample and sealed it before he even had the guy give the second sample.

What if one is asked to provide a second sample and the clinic closes before the second sample is taken? I was given a refusal while drinking water and waiting to provide a sample
