Divine discontent and the conflict at the centre of all things. Miró's struggle both to free himself from the influences of traditional representative art and to transcend the elements of conflict he saw at the centre of all things.

In Catalonia for the first time and learning about Miro. Very interesting and helpful. To me, the difference between the tilled field and the farm shows a powerful rebuke of capitalism.

Short documentary of Joan Miro ミロのドキュメンタリーです。素晴らしいです。
I'm always super intrigued by artists that follow their own expression and naturally (and sort of subconsciously) convey elements of everything. He was one of the greatest! "Still Life With An Old Shoe" made me want to get off this free Starbucks Wifi and go paint.

The music accompanies the paintings perfectly and is spectacular. Does anyone know either of the pieces?

I noticed they didn't add any of his numbered works. I'm especially interested in his #48 and any information behind the inspiration.

Another dipshit with that same old cliche statement. Make a KZbin channel and present 10 paintings made way better from your talented 10 year old "song". I bet it will NEVER happen.
