Of course this being the Telegraph they neglect to mention that the overwhelming majority of violent protests ongoing in NI currently are promoted by the Unionist paramilitaries. Its also worth noting that Derry (its not Londonderry but Derry and I'm a Protestant) is somewhat of a special case with persistent paramilitary activity ever since 1998 - from both sides and most of it related to non political criminal activity by the gangs - eg drugs)
