The citizenship requirement in the Gambia is similar to many countries in the world, so, the lack of citizenship attainment for these people is not because they are targeted or discriminated unjustly. These people are Ghanian descent, and should demand their rights to citizenship from Ghana, which has been recently hailed for their magnanimous gesture of granting citizenship to over 500 African descents (African-American).

Gambia is a very small country with limited resources. How can you still ask for scholarships and other limited assistance designated for Gambians when you give land, means to work and survive.
