Lindor's injury was another typical Mets bad news, but it opened the door for Acuna to make his big league debut and the Mets are doing better. Amazing.

Yea good see acuna doing well but don’t forget Mets won 8 in a row a couple weeks ago with Lindor in the lineup. He’s their mvp and star. But future is bright for the young guys

He was getting called up before lindor got injured him being hot and filling in that offensive/ defensive hole is just all perfect timing for this team but if he keeps going like this hopefully he will be a great spark plug for this team if they make the playoffs

What was beautiful about that 9 Run inning is that there were 4 Hits made with 2 Strikes, Solid ABs and Great Baserunning. Acuna who hit a total of 7 Hrs in a full season AAA coming up to provide speed and solid defense was expected; the 2 Hrs in 3 games was not. We might have ourselves a nice prospect for our future. I was at the game last night and the Vibes were Immaculate. They can't all be 10-0 games and i expect to sweat the next 4 against the Phillies but this night was perfect.

WOW.. This is like 1973!! THe Mets were in Last Place in the division circa August 28, then went 25-6 the rest of the way to win the Division, go to the WS , but lost to the A's - Yogi Berra was the manager.

Why would you sit Iglesias? For one thing, look at his stat line defensively and offensively since coming up in May. And don’t forget he is a veteran and former all star. We are in a good position to make the postseason and possibly win it all. And finally, he is the reason for OMG! Acuna is the future but don’t get too cute with changing what has been working because Acuna has looked good after only two games.

Kinda expect some miscues from a rookie being called up for his very first MLB games. There has to be some nerves at play…wasn’t a horrible misplay. He has certainly done a lot more good though…so to rephrase, he has done almost nothing wrong…still an A+ or at the very least a solid A 😂

Braves have had a crazy number of injuries this year, no question. But don't blame the Mets, who are playing without their SS, 2Bman, three starting pitchers, including their ace, and several bullpen arms. Credit David Stearns with bringing in Manaea, Severino, Torrens, Iglesias, Maton, and others, which any team could have done, but Stearns was smarter.

@@jimwerther Nah, they don't get to cry about injuries, not when they were the ones telling the Mets that injuries was no excuse. The Braves fan is just butt-hurt that the Mets are actually doing well. Given that the Braves basically lead the charge in trying to keep the Mets as MLB's court jester, they're the ones who get the angriest when the joke stops being funny and starts laying waste to everyone else.
