I love how they try and succeed with expressing christophers way of thinking. The scenes where they dance and get intimated by each other, were i think smybolyzing why christopher does not want to be touched OR whats going on in his mind when someone touches him. it‘s an incredible peace !

I read this book in 2004 and it moved me in a way that a contemporary book hadn't in ages. I was a Speech Therapy major at the time and I just fell in love with Christopher. When I found that it was on Broadway I almost laughed because I thought I was the only one who loved this book. I was 5th row center when I saw it and I cried.Mark is a truly amazing, kind, individual.

In this video, the gas station scene is beautifully captured from Christoper‘s perspective highlighting his vivid Imagination and the colours he observes. For instance,he feels like touched.Futhermore ist Talks Also About Emotions of autistic people. The Video aims to show people who do not have autism how someone with autism sees and intreacts with the world.

The actors portrayed their individual characters quite accurately and thus played their roles well. It’s impressive how much insight as to what is going on inside the character, Christophers mind the staff actually has and how the actors can clearly show what was intended to be. The gymnastic capabilities of the actors regardless of their age were rather intriguing. The whole play also gave good insight on the view of people with a different way of seeing the world compared to the average person. Thank you for the performance, it was fun.

I’ve just recently read the book but I think the way the actors portrayed Christopher and what goes on in his head when he makes decisions is very good. This play is very moving and educational too, well done!

Hi I have Aspergers Syndrome, supposedly High Functioning Autism, and I absolutely love what you have done with this production. I agree with the sensory aspect, whenever I go to a train station it can be perplexing with all the massive crowds. But I am a student at Durham university and I act as well, so I absolutely love what you have done with this production

The play is one of the most extraordinary theatre going experiences of my life. It was funny, moving and incredibly imaginative. I saw it with Jack Loxton in the part and he was brilliant. I'm sure he's got a very promising and brilliant career ahead of him, and the entire cast was perfect.

I just saw this play yesterday in Carré Theatre in Amsterdam and it was literally mindblowing! Wow! The whole creation, every espect, was so great, so creatively thought out... I really felt everything because of becoming one with Christophers' world, thanks to all the visuals, lightning, music, sound effects, etc. as a creation of the crew but also because the cast did a more than great job, expressing in such a way with their emotions. Highly recommended!

I think the characters where displayed very good by the actors. I also think by having the insight of some Autistic People the scenes like the Trainstation were made even better, they also did a great job with portraing the overload of information and the confusion of Christopher during the whole play. While I think the whole play was quite good I was confused by the whole Christopher being touched very much but not reacting to it. I would have liked to see how they were going to portrait Wellingtons death though.

I think the acting was quite good and was portrayed very well from the book, the actor (Luke) for Christopher even acted out the role when dealing with the rat which was used to portray Toby well. The old woman who acted out Mrs Alexander didn’t appear very often in the video and only appeared in the gymnastics which I didn’t understand. The video itself is a little confusing for me since I didn’t quite understand when they were acting out things and when not. I also liked it when they used wooden boxes to act out the scenes for example when using them as a substitute for the luggage.

It was performed in a thrust stage. Kinda like the ones we see in most theaters, but with an extra bit hanging over, giving the audience more angles to view it from.

A wonderful play but I wish I could have actually seen it properly. I don't have autism but I have big issues around sensory overload. I went with my school last night and there was absolutely no warning (probably also because my school couldn't care less about its students' mental health). Spent the entire thing sobbing, shaking and unable to leave. The flashing lights, noises and graphic image of the dog at the beginning was very triggering. It was beautiful and I appreciate the way that they show people what it is like to be autistic, but I feel like the entire thing was just one big wave of sensory overload
